Our History
Founded in 1971 by members of the Chelan County Medical Auxiliary, Mobile Meals has evolved into a trailblazer in hot meal delivery in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. From our humble beginnings, we’ve grown steadily, driven by a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Our journey is marked by key milestones, including partnering with St. Anthony Hospital, later Central Washington Hospital.
Throughout the years, we’ve adapted to changing landscapes, embracing emerging technologies (website and social media) and trends (offering additional food sides). This resilience has positioned us as a leader in local fresh meal delivery, with a reputation for delivering high-quality meals.
In 2016, a pivotal moment marked a turning point in our trajectory when the Wenatchee Follies Guild awarded the earnings of its performances to Mobile Meals. This enabled us to partner with the NCW Foundation. This catapulted us to new heights, solidifying our presence in hot local meal delivery to those qualified. As we expanded, our commitment to meal quality and local responsibility remained integral to Mobile Meals’ identity.
Today, we continue to shape the future of Mobile Meals through ease of website use and social media. Our dedication to excellence and innovation remains unwavering, ensuring a promising future for both Mobile Meals and the recipients we serve.
