For over 50 years, our volunteer drivers have been the heart and soul of our organization. We would be nothing without the hundreds of volunteers who have given their time and resources to support Mobile Meals. Many of our drivers have been with the program for more than 20 years!
Drivers volunteer their time, vehicle, and fuel to deliver meals. Each driver is asked to commit to a minimum of 1 day per month but may drive more often if interested. Each delivery route covers approximately 20 miles (but often less) and can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to complete. New drivers will ride-along with an experienced driver once or twice before being assigned their own route. You may volunteer alone, as a couple, or pair with a friend to deliver meals together.

Volunteer drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
Drivers will be asked to provide a valid driver license, proof of insurance, and consent to a background check performed by Washington State Patrol.
